Generation Health Community - A Family-Based Healthy Living Program

The Program Includes
- 10 weekly, in-class sessions, 2 hours long, that focus on healthy eating and active living, goal setting, family mealtimes and family physical activity, sleep, screen time, and self-compassion, and positive parenting
- 10 weekly, in-person or online sessions providing additional content including, activities and recipes, for you to try as a family
- Q&A sessions with a Registered Dietitian and a Mental Health Professional
- A mobile App to support families with goal-setting, family challenges, and provide recipes, for 6 months post-program
- A $150 family physical activity credit to use in their community
- A family activity kit including program handouts, water bottle, jump rope, and catching scarves
Program Requirements
- Child is 8 to 12-years-old. with siblings aged 6-7 and 13 welcome to attend as well
- Parent/caregiver is able to attend all sessions with the child
- Attend all 10 in-class sessions
- Participate in the evaluation of the program if desired, to obtain a $20 grocery gift card
