Aboriginal Early Years Program
Family / Parenting, Indigenous Services, and Services for Children

The program provides Indigenous teachings for parents and their children 6 years and under at Early Years Centres.
The Centre offers a seven-session program held once a month. Additionally, family gatherings are available on Tuesday evenings in Salmo and Wednesday evenings in Trail. These gatherings are specifically for families who identify with Indigenous ancestry.
The program also offers additional support and resources to educators and parents, including drum circles for educators. Other services include storytelling, a sharing circle, drumming, and craft.
