Clinic offers evidence-based treatment for patients and staff interested in addressing their tobacco use.
This clinic offers smoking cessation assessment and treatment. This clinic is appropriate for those who are interested in quitting smoking and for those who may be simply exploring their options. Counseling and medications are combined as part of individualized, tailored treatment by specialists and RN. Cessation is seen as a process and not an event allowing patients at all stages of readiness to receive treatment. Patients can self-refer to the Smoking Cessation Clinic. The clinic provides free, one-on-one support by a doctor or nurse trained in nicotine dependence (tobacco and vapour products).
