Self testing kits to find out HIV status and connect with care.
The program is aimed at reaching individuals who are undiagnosed or at risk of HIV in Canada. Participants can learn their HIV status by downloading the I’m Ready, Test app to order up to three free HIV self-testing kits or by picking up a kit at a nearby distribution location.
After receiving a kit, participants can use the app to complete testing independently and access information about HIV care and prevention. Support is also available through I’m Ready, Talk, a secure telehealth service that connects users with peer navigators for guidance and care at any stage before, during, or after testing.
