Pain Recovery is a comprehensive virtual program led by Dr. Noah Alexander, designed to support individuals living with persistent pain. This program provides patients with accessible support through medical insight, movement therapy, pain science, and compassionate care.
Group Medical Visits (GMVs) bring together the best of medicine, movement therapy, and pain science education in a welcoming online setting. Participants are guided by physicians and clinicians who specialize in persistent pain, ensuring both expert care and a supportive community experience. Sessions are focused on:
- Education: Topics include pain science education, medication options, pacing, sleep and more
- Guided practice: Movement therapy, meditation, and mindfulness-based exercises
- Practical tools: Actionable strategies and personalized plans to reduce pain and support daily function
Group Medical Visits are fully covered by MSP and available to adults living in British Columbia who have a valid Personal Health Number (PHN). A referral from a family doctor, nurse practitioner, or pain specialist is required to access pain management services.
Referrals can be faxed directly to the clinic. For individuals without a referral or a primary care provider, coordination can be arranged through an
introductory session.
