Cranbrook Women's Resource Centre (WRC)

Provides individual support, including crisis support and generalized emotional support, to all women and those who identify as women.
The Cranbrook Women's Resource Centre (WRC) works to improve the status of women and their families through direct service provision, and by advocating for social and systemic change. WRC helps women in the community of Cranbrook meet their basic needs through a range of free services, including:
  • Information sessions and referrals across the community
  • Taxi vouchers to travel to medical or legal appointments, or food banks
  • Free clothing closet and hygiene supplies including period products
  • Lay counselling, women's health coaching, safety planning, and crisis intervention
  • Vouchers to the Cellar Thrift Store if the WRC clothing closet doesn't have suitable garments etc.
  • Access to books and published resources, including information and resources about violence against women, violence in relationships, sexualized assault and stalking

Hours of Operation are by appointment on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
Drop-in available on Wednesday from 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM
