Child and Adolescent Program - Mental Health Assessment and Treatment - North Vancouver
Child Services, Mental Health - Child & Youth, and Youth Services
Provided by Vancouver Coastal Health
- Child and Adolescent Program (CAP): Counselling and psychiatric support for children and youth (ages 6 – 19) with moderate to severe mental health concerns
- Team Response to Adolescent & Children in Crisis (TRACC): Urgent response for children and youth who are at moderate to high risk of suicide
- Psychiatric Consultation: Psychiatric assessment by a psychiatrist (Brief follow up 1-3 sessions) for children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health concerns
- Behavioural issues
- ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Early-onset Psychoses and other mental health issues
- Substance abuse and co-occurring substance abuse/mental health issues are also addressed
Referral Instructions: Appointments with a psychiatrist require a referral from a health professional. Fax referral form to Central Intake. (See form and fax number information below).

North Vancouver: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Eligibility: Children and youth aged 6 -18; locations service residents of North Vancouver
