Clients' length of stay ranges from 6-24 months; some people may benefit from a longer stay.
This service requires a referral by a case manager, community mental health team or a psychiatrist in hospital. Referrals are accepted through the Centralized Access & Discharge Line.
Eligibility: The program is for adults 19 or older with severe and persistent mental illness and does not have an acute medical condition.
A referral is required.
