Provides practical, emotional and spiritual support to individuals and their loved ones through the stages of dying, death and bereavement
East Shore Hospice is a branch of the Nelson & District Hospice Society that serves the areas from Riondel to Boswell. They provide practical, emotional, and spiritual support to individuals and their loved ones through the stages of dying, death, and bereavement.

  • Phone calls and visits with clients and families to give emotional support
  • Help with practical day-to-day needs like appointments and outings
  • Respite time to give at-home caregivers a break
  • Advance Care Planning
  • Bereavement/grief support after the death of a loved one
Families may contact the hospice office directly or ask a doctor, home care provider or hospital staff to contact the hospice on their behalf.
