Offers a range of essential services to help newcomers thrive, from language classes to employment support, providing assistance every step of the way.
Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House offers programs to support newcomers in settling and thriving in their new community. Services include guidance through the stages toward citizenship, opportunities for community involvement, and resources that promote long-term wellbeing and active participation in society.

Programs and services include:
  • Multicultural Conversation Circle: For people of all cultures and background
  • Canadian Citizenship Test Course Preparation: For permanent residents
  • Life Skills Workshop Series: These workshops support the transition with information to help newcomers understand and integrate more smoothly into culture, employment, parenting, local schools and health systems.
  • Working Opportunities for Women (WOW): For newcomer women who are either a permanent resident, convention refugee, protected person, naturalized Canadian citizen or work permit holder, CLB 5 and above or equivalent.
  • Pathways to Leadership: For all immigrant women
  • One to One Services: For permanent residents, convention refugees and protected persons.
