Acute Home Based Treatment Program for Severe Mental Illness - West Vancouver
Addictions / Substance Use, Home Health Care, Medication, Mental Health - Adult & Senior, and Mental Health - Child & Youth

Acute Home Based Treatment offers:
- Treatment in a comfortable, familiar environment with minimal disruption to day-to-day living
- Choice, so that hospital care is not the only option
- Coordinated treatment with clients and their caregivers
A referral is required from a medical professional.
Eligibility: For people 17 years and older living in Richmond, Vancouver, or on the North Shore, who are experiencing a worsening of symptoms or distress due to mental illness and/or substance use concerns, and who are willing and able to accept care at home.
Clients cannot participate in this program if they are actively suicidal or at risk of harming others, or not living in a safe home environment (e.g. there are weapons or other individuals with a history of violence in the home).
